Jill Sudbury

Dr Jill Sudbury is an anthropologist with a particular interest in marginalised peoples. After a career in educational publishing and involvement in a number of human rights campaigns, she spent many years in the Himalayan region documenting cultural traditions under threat. After completing her doctorate at the University of Oxford, she has conducted research and lectured on a diverse range of subjects including contemporary religious practices and the British experience of slavery. She is experienced in editing a wide range of fiction and academic work.
